HTC One M8 vs Galaxy S5 Review: Specs and Features Comparison

The HTC One is considered one of the few phones that can rival the iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy S5 in terms of design and appearance.

It was considered to be one of the best smartphones in 2013 and it remains a mighty fine smartphone. Here's why:

HTC One has more battery at 2,600 mAh, more speed with a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 @ 2.3GHz, more screen size with a 5 inch LCD, 1920x1080 resolution at 441ppi, as well as more powerful lenses at 4.1UP and dedicated depth sensor rear, 5MP front, more storage with a 16/32GB with microSD expandable by up to 128GB, and even more metal as the device is made from a single piece of smooth aluminum.

Samsung, on the other hand, has taken its flagship's design inside and out, more seriously.

It has a big and bright screen with a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED with 1920x1080 resolution at 432ppi, along with a powerful camera which has a 16MP rear at UHD @30fps and 2MP front at 1080p.

The device also has a speedy processor with a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 @ 2.5GHz, as well as a lasting battery with an impressive 2800mAh, and ample storage capacity with versions coming in 16 and 32GB, with microSD expandable by up to 128GB.

Both have their own strengths and weaknesses, but it looks like Samsung Galaxy S5 wins on the aspects of battery power and processor, although HTC One gets the upper hand on design and camera.
