Many people expected the company to announce the highly anticipated device at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. However, new reports have emerged suggesting that Huawei may delay the upcoming launching of Mate 8's successor. Nonetheless, a series of leaked photos online gave fans the idea of what to expect once the new smartphone hits the market.
According to a report by Phone Arena, the new Huawei Mate 9 renders from MyDrivers show the device's exterior design. If rumors prove to be true, the upcoming smartphone will carry a dual primary camera set up. What's interesting is that the shooter is located right above the fingerprint scanner of the device.
The series of leaked photos have been pretty consistent with its color combination of black and gold. According to several tech observers, not everyone has a positive response with regard to the rumored color combo of the new smartphone. However, its specs and features are definitely something to look forward to.
Huawei Mate 9 will run on Kirin 960 chipset paired with a whopping 6 GB of RAM. Although the company has yet to provide specific details of its development, many expect it to come out with impressive specs and features.
Meanwhile, Huawei has recently unveiled its new Nova and Nova Plus smartphones. It is the company's latest entry in the mid-range market. The new smartphones are said to run on Snapdragon 625 processor from Qualcomm paired with 3 GB of RAM. It is also expected to carry a 5-inch display along with a 3020mAh battery.
According to Deccan Chronicle, the Nova will most likely be priced at $450, while the Nova Plus variant will be available for $480. According to the publication, the two smartphones will be rolled out in several markets across the world in October.
