'Injustice 2' release date news: Sequel might get launched in March 2017?

The release of the upcoming fighting video game, "Injustice 2," has just gotten a little more interesting following several reports suggesting that the title will feature new DC characters. Latest speculation also says that the second installment of the popular franchise will finally come out in March 2017 for PlayStation 4 console.

According to the report, there are currently 11 characters in the roster that have been confirmed such as Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Harley Quinn. The new characters that have already been added include Supergirl, Blue Beetle, Atrocitus, Gorilla Grodd and Deadshot. According to Gamerant, fans would like to see more DC heroes and villains to be included on the roster such as John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Jonah Hex, Beast Boy, Starfire, Red Hood, King Shark, Darkseid, Captain Boomerang and Rorschach.

Although game developer NetherRealm Studios and its publisher Warner Bros have yet to confirm the latest addition to the team, many fans expect both companies to make an official announcement anytime soon.

In another report by the French video game publication Gameblog, the second installment of "Injustice" could come out in March 2017 across all platforms. Although it has already been known that the game will come out next year, the company has yet to provide the specific details of its release. If rumors prove to be true, it should only be a matter of time before the company releases an official statement regarding its planned launching of "Injustice 2"

Meanwhile, Director Ed Boon has recently teased fans during the Comic-Con event in San Diego saying that "Injustice 2" PC version might also be in the process. However, nobody can tell if it will come out along with the other versions of the game.

As of the moment, fans should take all rumors and speculations with a grain of salt until the company confirms them.
