iOS 10.2 Jailbreak release date news 2016: no tool for iOS 10 available yet; can hacking teams keep up with the latest update?
Jailbreak teams have been working hard to develop a jailbreak tool to get the unapproved Apple apps running on iOS devices. With the latest iOS 10.2 already in its seventh beta test, can the hacking teams finally come up with an iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool?
It can be recalled that the Chinese jailbreak team, Pangu, has announced that they already have a solution for the recent Apple iOS, but no tool has been released yet. However, they have kept the hopes up of the jailbreak community upon the news that they are already in the final phase of developing the anticipated tool and will release it to the public as soon as Apple rolls out its iOS 10.2 update.
Until now, there is no jailbreak tool for iOS 10. The most recent tool is for iOS 9.3, which may already be useless since the members of the jailbreak community may have upgraded their handsets to the latest operating system. Furthermore, it is risky to downgrade the iOS to 9.3 as there are potential consequences that may happen.
It seems like the hacking teams have been having a hard time developing a tool for the recent iOS. Back then, tool developers readily come out with a jailbreak tool as soon as a new iOS comes out. This seems to be different with iOS 10 and it seems like Apple is winning the battle against the jailbreak teams.
Apple previously stated that iOS 10 has a strong security patch that cannot be penetrated by hackers or any other threat. It was during the iOS 10's launch when the Cupertino tech giant dared the software developers, as well as the hackers, to find bugs in the recent software with a $100,000 reward to those who can breach the software.
This week, Apple will release the seventh beta test for iOS 10.2. Will the jailbreak community be able to see a jailbreak tool for it?
