iOS 10 Jailbreak release date news: new exploit to help jailbreak developers release the iOS 10 jailbreak?
Jailbreak fanatics could finally get their hands on the iOS 10 version sooner than expected.
A report from Value Walk revealed that there was a software exploit that could help jailbreak developers get into the tight security of Apple's iOS mobile software.
According to the report, the Project Zero from Google revealed an exploit that can be seen in iOS 10.1.1. The said exploit contains both a kernel and a root exploit, which may not be helpful for any average iPhone smartphone user. However, the said exploit can be beneficial to a jailbreak developer to test the tool before it can be released in the public.
The report stated that the exploit was first discovered by Project Zero member Ian Beer, which he tested on two iOS devices like the iPad mini and iPad Touch. But posted all his findings on Chromium.org, but it will only be useless for those who are not a skilled developer.
But if the new iOS 10 jailbreak will be released in public, the publication advised those who already downloaded the iOS 10.2 operating system should opt to downgrade it to the iOS 10.1.1. According to the report, downgrading should be done immediately because Apple is known for constantly changing its firmware.
Meanwhile, Game N Guide revealed that those who are waiting for an iOS 10 jailbreak might not get it from the usual jailbreak developers like Pangu. However, other jailbreak makers like Coolstar Repo, Lux Repo, and Karen's Pineapple Repo might come out with a minor version of jailbreak while the actual jailbreak software is still in development.
The three repos can reportedly provide several features that can be seen in a typical jailbreak tool, such as device customization, command line tool modifications, or app changes.
Apple users must expect to hear more information about the iOS 10 jailbreak tool in the coming days.
