The full version of the iOS 10 was released last September, and a few weeks after the latest iOS version rolled out in iPhones and iPads, people are now wondering if the mobile hackers will be able to release a working jailbreak tool soon. Pangu, a Chinese hacker group, has been responsible with the jailbreak tools for the previous iOS 9.3.3 and 9.3.4 versions, but this time around, there is still no clear signs if they will be able to come up with a crack for the iOS 10.

The latest rumors regarding the development of an iOS 10 jailbreak looks bleak as of this moment. Even though Pangu was successful with the jailbreaking of the iOS 9.3, and at one point was successful in jailbreaking a beta version of the iOS 10, it is getting less likely that the group will come up with a working jailbreak software in the coming weeks. One thing that may be barring Pangu or any other hacker individuals and groups from successfully bypassing the security features of the latest iOS version is Apple's regular release of iOS 10 minor updates. Even though the recent iOS 10.0.1 and 10.0.2 are considered as minor updates only, the changes from the original settings of the iOS 10 may cause a few problems for Pangu and other hackers.

Specifically, the iOS 10.0.2 minor update was claimed by Apple to fix a lightning headphone bug and application crash issues. Still, other people could not help but speculate if Apple also did some other tweaks in the operating system's security measures to prevent the hackers to find a crack.

Still, there is hope that the hackers today will be able to succeed and release a working iOS 10 jailbreak tool very soon. It is also possible that the hackers intend not to release the jailbreak right away until Apple release a major update for the iOS 10. Having a jailbreak tool released right away may be deemed obsolete if Apple would release a follow-up OS update to counter the hackers' efforts.

With the way things are going, some Apple users already gave up and resorted to reverting their devices to the older iOS 9.3 version. According to Mobile N Apps, downgrading from iOS 10 to older iOS versions will be helpful as people can be able to use the older jailbreak tools with the likes of iOS 9.3 and even iOS 8.4.
