iOS 10 jailbreak release date news, rumors: Pangu to wait for iOS 10.1 update before releasing JB tool?
Since the full version of the iOS 10 was released last September, mobile hacker groups have desperately tried to figure out ways to crack Apple's latest OS. Several iPad and iPhone users are wondering if a working jailbreak tool will be released anytime soon. For now, Apple has remained triumphant as known hackers like Pangu have not yet succeeded in jailbreaking the iOS 10.
One of the reasons why the hackers have not yet released a jailbreak tool for the iOS 10 is due to the OS version's stability. According to Yibada, there are reports of security and compatibility issues with the iOS 10, meaning that the current iOS version is still unstable. With this, Apple has been releasing minor updates to provide fixes to the reported problems, but this also means that the hackers will have to adjust to this small changes in the iOS 10's settings.
So far, Apple has released three minor updates for the iOS 10, namely the iOS 10.0.1, 10.0.2, and 10.0.3. While the main objective of these minor updates is not to make the OS cracking more difficult, the sudden code changes caused by these will be crucial to developing a functional jailbreak tool.
According to Gotta Be Mobile, in spite of the delay caused by the minor iOS 10 updates, Pangu may already be coming close to crack the operating system. It is possible that the Chinese hacker group is just waiting for the first major update for the iOS 10 before they release the jailbreak tool. However, the only problem left would be the succeeding minor updates after the iOS 10.1, as there will be code alterations expected. Nevertheless, Pangu will only have a few things to work on upon the iOS 10.1 rollout.
Apple Insider reported that Apple has been downsizing the iOS versions that they are still signing or supporting. This would mean that downgrading to the previous iOS version that supports a currently existing jailbreak tool will no longer be possible. All hopes now lie to the upcoming iOS 10 jailbreak, which is hopefully arriving soon.
