iPad Pro 2 release date, specs news 2016: Device to be unveiled this September? Features True Tone display
Apple has not yet given an official confirmation of the next iteration of the iPad Pro. However, there are already rumors suggesting that the iPad Pro 2 is actually happening. Many are speculating that the new iPad Pro design will make an appearance this year, possibly this coming September when the Cupertino-based tech giant will be having its next big press event for 2016.
So far, there are only limited information regarding the iPad Pro 2's possible specifications. However, there are reports that the iPad Pro 2 will boast a number of improvements over its predecessor device that was released almost a year ago. Specifically, the next iteration of the iPad Pro is expected to feature a True Tone display technology at the very least. This technology is expected to adjust the white balance in the screen display for the user automatically, enabling a better and more realistic viewing experience. This feature is possible to be included as it is the most likely addition to show an improvement over the 9.7-inch iPad Pro that was unveiled last March, the Value Walk reported.
Moreover, the iPad Pro 2 is rumored to have a faster and more efficient A10X processor chipset and an improved camera settings, having a 12-megapixel iSight camera with 4K recording and Live Photos support, plus a 5MP front camera with a Retina Flash.
Mac World reported that the arrival of the next iteration of iPad Pro is still possible this year in spite of the device being a no-show at June's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). In fact, the rumors are rife that the unveiling of the iPad Pro 2 will happen sometime this Fall. To be exact, the unveiling of the iPad Pro 2 is expected in September during Apple's next big event for this year. If the rumors are anything to go by, the iPad Pro 2 will be released alongside the new iPhone 7 smartphone. Techno Buffalo also speculates that the final version of the iOS 10 will be featured by the iPad Pro 2 this September.
