iPhone 6 vs LG G Flex Review: Specs, Price and Features Comparison - Great Design Fights New Curved Concept Phone
The iPhone 6 has proven that bigger screened phones are here to stay, but the LG G Flex set out to show that it can reinvent the curve.
Design
The G Flex was the first phone from LG with a curve extending from top to bottom, because of which its screen and body are both curved. As for its build it is mostly plastic. It has a self-healing coating on its back panel which can remove minor scratches in minutes. On the other hand, the iPhone 6 it has a full metal unibody and rounded edges which give it a premium look and a smooth feel when held.
Display
Comparing their displays, the G Flex has a 6-inch curved P-OLED screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and a density of 245 pixels per inch, while the iPhone 6 has a LED-backlit LCD screen measuring 4.7 inches with a resolution of 750 x 1334 pixels and a density of 326 pixels per inch.
Specs
While the iPhone 6 has the Apple A8 chipset, along with a dual-core 1.4 GHz Cyclone CPU and PowerVR GX6450 GPU with quad-core graphics, the G Flex has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, along with a quad-core 2.26 GHz Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU.
Memory
The iPhone 6 comes with 1 GB of RAM while the G Flex has 2 GB. As for memory slots, the iPhone 6 and the G Flex both do not have this facility.
Camera
On the iPhone 6 is a 8 megapixel rear camera while the G Flex has a 13 megapixel version on its rear.
Battery
The G flex has a larger 3500 mAh battery compared to the 1810 mAh battery available on the iPhone 6.
Price
The 16GB iPhone 6 is priced at $199 without a contract, while the G Flex can be purchased for $99 with a two-year contract.
