Rumors have been circulating for a while now that the upcoming iPhone 7 may lose the 3.5-millimeter headphone jack, which would have iPhone users relying on audio output probably through Bluetooth or Lightning.

However, a recent leak by Rock Fix, a Chinese repair shop for smartphones in Ganzhou, features photos of alleged iPhone 7 components. It appears that the upcoming 4.7-inch iPhone 7 may be keeping its 3.5-millimeter headphone jack because one of the components (said to be for the newest iPhone iteration) is shown with its Lighting cable assembly attached to the headphone jack.

Even more surprising are the images of what are claimed to be the dual-SIM trays also said to be for the newest iPhone. This is going to be big news if the leak proves authentic as it would mark the first time for Apple to consider this feature.

Other photos show SanDisk memory 256GB chips which are now sparking speculations that the next iPhone would carry a 256GB version.

There are supposedly changes to be made to the antenna design but without losing the antenna bands on the iPhone's rear.

The photos also tell of a dual-lens camera seemingly for the larger of the two models being showcased. However, there are conflicting reports regarding this supposed feature. A well-informed source reported that the feature will not be coming out as yet due to the tech not being available, but another source from the industry went on to say that this information was false since, on the contrary, tooling for the feature is already created and that it would be too late for Apple to kill it.

The latter source even pointed out that other companies such as Vivo, Xiaomi, Samsung, and Oppo are looking into having dual-lens cameras for their smartphones as well.

The launch date for the iPhone 7 is speculated to be in the fall of this year.
