'iZombie' season 3 air date, spoilers: New season to see start of all-out war between humans and zombies?
More undead beings will be coming with season 3 of "iZombie," which will officially premiere on April 4.
Liv (Rose McIver) will realize that Seattle has more undead beings than she first thought. She will also discover more about Fillmore Grave Enterprises, a private military contractor headed by Vivian Stoll (Andrea Savage) which is hiring zombies to form an army. The zombies are getting ready for the time when humans will finally learn about them. Liv will also find herself joining the undead para-military group, with Stoll envisioning Seattle as the zombie capital. This will put her in a quandary: will she choose to side with the zombies, or will she side with the humans once the war begins?
Liv will also go on an investigation with Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) to solve the mystery behind the murder of a zombie family. The case is sensitive, considering that it can trigger an all-out war between humans and zombies.
Liv's transformations in season 3 include a dominatrix, a stuntman, a gossipmonger, a pre-school teacher, a dungeon master, and a conspiracy theorist.
Peyton (Aly Michalka), will also have her own cases to handle. During her investigation, she will stumble upon something that can point to the villain pulling the strings.
While Major Lilywhite (Robert Buckley), now a full-fledged zombie, was declared not guilty of the crimes committed by the Chaos Killer, he will still be considered an outcast in the town. This will force him to seek employment, and he will find it at the only place which would be willing to hire him — the zombie army.
Blaine (David Anders), who loses his memories at the end of season 2 after attempting to cure himself for the second time, will regain his humanity, but with becoming human again, he also forgets all his evil doings.
"iZombie" season 3 will air every Tuesday night at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
