Production for "iZombie" season 3 is already done, but the cast is campaigning for a musical episode. Meanwhile, Major (Robert Buckley) will eat the brains of a teenage girl that will give him Taylor Swift fever.

"iZombie" season 3 will be premiering this April, and although the production for this season is already finished, TV Guide reports that the cast is pushing to make a musical episode happen.

David Anders, who plays Blaine, said, "We've been lobbying hard for a musical episode." The actor also added that "iZombie" has been compared to his previous series, "Buffy," which also did a musical episode.

Aside from Blaine, Rose McIver and Aly Michalka, who both showcased their singing prowess in season 2 when Liv ate the brains of a striving country singer, are also hopeful that by getting the fans of the show to join their campaign, the producers will give them a musical episode.

Meanwhile, TV Line reports that Major and Liv are going to snack on the brains of a father and daughter pair, but the latter goes to Major.

Nerdist reports that at the 2017 Winter Television Critics Association panel, Buckley shared that the writers came to him and said that they have the perfect episode for him. He thought he was going to be "a cage fighter of a lothario," but it was actually going to be a "14-year-old bitchy teenage girl."

Major will be taking a lot of selfies, and he will be having the Swift fever after eating the teenage girl's brains.

Liv, on the other hand, will soon be acting like a dominatrix and a "Dungeons and Dragons" player in "iZombie" season 3. McIver shared that she is willing to take on as many personalities except for one.

"They were like, 'We've got a list of 35 brains and you're allowed to veto one.' Just everything you could imagine, terrifying, all sorts of adventurous, scary things. Cat lady is what I vetoed. I'm a dog person. They thought it would be a great prank to play on me to pretend there was this brain I had to eat where I was interacting with like seven cats. That was the one where I was like, 'Absolutely not,'" McIver explained.

"iZombie" season 3 premieres on Tuesday, April 4, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
