'Jane the Virgin' season 3 episode 10 spoilers: Jane and Michael find trouble in paradise; Petra's new love interest to be introduced

Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Michael (Brett Dier) will have struggles in keeping their finances afloat. Meanwhile, Petra (Yael Grobglas) will find someone new to live who might be introduced in the upcoming episode.

In the upcoming 10th episode of "Jane the Virgin" season 3, the newly married couple will soon feel the struggles of working hard for their own family, especially now that Michael is having a hard time looking for a job since he failed his medical exam.

However, Jane will cook up something special to ease their tensions away. The episode synopsis reads, "When Jane realizes that she and Michael are both stressed out, they decide to recreate their first date to help them relax."

In an interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Rodriguez shared that Jane and Michael are going through a certain phase in their new marriage where the finances are sensitive.

"What they are learning to do is to budget as a new family and they're working class. They're making it work, and they're trying to make it work," Rodriguez explained.

However, it seems that they aren't the only ones going through a rough patch, as Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Bruce's (Ricardo Chavira) relationship might soon come to an end. "Bruce's daughter finds herself in trouble leaving Xo and Bruce to discuss the future of their relationship," the synopsis read.

These couples may be going through tough times, but Petra will soon find love in the upcoming episodes of "Jane the Virgin" season 3.

Showrunner Jennie Urman shared that Petra will have a new love interest that will be introduced in episode 10 or 11. Although, in order for her to love, Petra must first find peace with all the things that has happened in her life before she opens her heart to someone.
