Jane (Gina Rodriguez) finds a way to unwind on the upcoming episode of The CW's comedy-drama "Jane the Virgin" season 3.

Titled "Chapter Fifty-Four," next week's episode will see the characters try to make good choices. According to the official synopsis, Jane realizes that she and Michael (Brett Dier) are both stressed out. In an effort to relax from her busy schedule, Jane decides to recreate their first date.

Rogelio (Jaime Camil) makes a huge scene on the red carpet of his film premiere, and his rant quickly goes viral. The controversial clip forces him to make a choice about the direction of his career. Meanwhile, Rafael (Justin Baldoni) tries to become a good example for his kids, so he makes a great sacrifice. Bruce's (guest star Ricardo Chavira) daughter gets in trouble, leading Xo (Andrea Navedo) and Bruce to discuss on whether they should continue their relationship or not.

After being literally paralyzed by her evil twin sister who took over her life, it seems that Petra (Yael Grobglas) might be ready for love again. Series creator Jennie Snyder Urman said in an interview that a new love interest for Petra will be introduced in the upcoming episode. However, Petra might be more careful when it comes to trusting men who show interest in her.

"There are some new romances on the horizon that are exciting for Petra," Urman teased. "The new love interest [appears] around [episodes] 10-11. Petra's always hard and soft at the same time, so I like to go back and forth. She tried being nice. Petra has a lot to go through first because she was frozen. She has to deal with the emotional, I would say, repercussions of that. That's something that she's going to be dealing with before she can open herself to love," she went on to say.

The third season of "Jane the Virgin" airs every Monday night at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
