Season 3 of "Jane the Virgin" is back with its second half, and it will soon feature Jane (Gina Rodriguez) getting a new job. Meanwhile, Jane and Michael (Brett Dier) might be planning to expand their family of three.

"Jane the Virgin" season 3 returned last Monday with Chapter Fifty-Two, where Jane could not help interfering in the relationships of those close to her, specifically her mother's and Rafael's (Justin Baldoni).

However, later on, Jane will be focusing on herself as she will be getting a new job that will bring her closer to her dream of being a writer. In an interview with Rotten Tomatoes, showrunner Jennie Snyder shared that Jane will be having her first interview by episode 10 or Chapter Fifty-Four.

"You see Jane still going after what she loves, even as a mom, when all these 'obstacles' she has, she really fights through them," Urman explained. Although, Jane will not be getting her new job on the first try, as Rodriguez assured that her character will always be on bad interviews.

Jane's new boss, to be portrayed by Maya Kazan, happens to be the same age as Jane but only more accomplished. This factor might cause Jane to have feelings of insecurity and jealousy towards her boss.

"There's definitely some tension and different feelings about having a boss that's her same age and where they are in their life versus your life," Urman explained.

Aside from her career life, Jane is also working on her family life. Urman shared with TV Line that Jane and Michael will be soon talking about having another baby.

The conversation of expanding their family will come in episode 10, the same time Jane is pushing for a new job, which might cause complications in making their decisions.

"Jane the Virgin" season 3 airs every Monday at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
