Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Martin Dating News, Rumors: Couple Never Broke Up, Says Insider

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin are still seeing one another despite reports last week that the two had split up.

Last Oct. 27, Lawrence and Martin were reported to have broken off their relationship.

However, an insider stated that the two continue to be an item and have never really broken up. "They're very much together," the insider said. "He's very much into her and they're still seeing each other."

The same insider stated that on the very same day reports of their split appeared online, Lawrence spent a few hours with Martin at the latter's Malibu home. The actress returned three nights later on Thursday, Oct. 30, and once more on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Another source claimed that in the beginning, the couple used to spend time between Lawrence's Beverly Hills house and Martin's Malibu abode. But now they spend most of their time at Martin's place, prompting Lawrence to drive back and forth.

The reports on Martin and Lawrence's split came following rumors that Martin and Paltrow were rekindling their romance after they were seen spending time together. A source claimed to have seen the two flirting at the amfAR gala on Oct. 29.

Martin and Paltrow were seen "acting like a couple" and that "there didn't seem to be one shred of awkwardness between them."

The source also said that "Gwyneth was extremely flirty and Chris was totally adoring. We all got the impression they are together again. She didn't bring a date. Chris was her date for the night."

Paltrow even called Martin the "father of the year" during her introduction speech at the gala for Martin's performance.

Martin was also recently seen on Friday, Oct. 31, trick-or-treating with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, and their children, 10-year-old Apple and 8-year-old Moses.

When asked about Lawrence's reaction to Martin's closeness with Paltrow, the insider told PEOPLE that Lawrence "doesn't give a sh*t about Gwyneth." Lawrence also reportedly found the stories "hilarious."

Neither Lawrence nor Martin nor their publicists have commented on the alleged split or on the current nature of their relationship.
