'Jurassic World' Release Date 2015, Trailer To Be Released on Thanksgiving Day
The trailer for the much-anticipated "Jurassic World" will be released on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, it was officially announced.
Last week, a countdown clock appeared on the official website of the "Jurassic World" site. Frank Marshall, film producer, confirmed that it was a countdown for the release of the trailer at 9 p.m. EST on Thanksgiving Day. The movie is to hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
Prior to the release of ther official trailer, a 15-second teaser that features a first look at the "Jurassic World" was also released. Also introduced were the main characters Bryce Dallas, Chris Pratt, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson; the dinosaurs; and the new technology used in the park.
Although the preview is not even close enough to what fans expect of a trailer, it does give a decent sneak peak of the upcoming movie, which is expected to be both different and similar to the original Steven Spielberg film.
The teaser opens with a glimpse of the gates of the "Jurassic World" and immediately on the next scene, a group of visitors having a tour in an open-air safari vehicle while a flock of gallimimus chase them. The colors are a bit muted, and the whole teaser is dominated by greens, rather than the reddish browns of the original movie.
The preview does not give viewers enough clue of what the Jurassic World is going to feature. It's difficult to get a reading of something that does not show much, but then the good news is that it's only a few more days of waiting until the full trailer arrives.
