'Jurassic World' Release Date Nears: New Trailer Video Features Chris Pratt Training Fierce Raptors
The previous "Jurassic World" trailer was low on thrills which left many fans clamoring for more "dinosaur-driven" action.
The recent trailer for the movie which debuted during Sunday's Super Bowl addressed this criticism. It featured Chris Pratt, who plays Owen, training a number of raptors, something which was hinted at in the first trailer.
The second trailer opened with a scene of a massive dinosaur rising above the water and then grabbing hold of a dead shark that had been suspended in the air.
There was also a lot of mayhem and death hinted at in the trailer. A flock of pteranodon is seen swooping down to attack park visitors, carrying some of them away.
The trailer also provided a closer look at the terrifying new dinosaur that the park had genetically engineered. It did not fully reveal the biggest dinosaur threat to humans but rather showed how deadly it was as it hunted a variety of park employees including Owen and even snatched one up with its huge jaws.
However, it was the scene where Owen appears to be training a number of velociraptors and giving them commands that really set the Internet alight. Several sites dubbed Owen as the new "raptor whisperer."
In addition, the trailer seemed to hint that Pratt's character will even use the raptors like a pack of trained dogs when fighting the huge genetically engineered dinosaur that likes to "hunt and kill for sport."
As for the rest of the trailer, it featured more terrified humans as the park was overrun by a variety of dinosaurs. Basically this repeats the premise that was seen in previous films in the franchise where humans end up being eaten by the dinosaurs in the park regardless of whether their intentions are good or bad.
