'Just Cause 3' Release Date: Gameplay Trailer Video Coming Next Week
The upcoming "Just Cause 3" game being developed by Avalanche Studios is going to get a much awaited gameplay trailer next week, specifically on Tuesday, April 28.
The news of the trailer was announced in a teaser which was recently released on the Twitter account of the developer. It had asked for a specific number of retweets in order to be revealed. As the goal of 1,500 retweets was reached, GIFs were unlocked and they pointed towards the gameplay trailer.
"Just Cause 3" is set for release for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The actual release date for the game has not been announced since the first CGI trailer for the game revealed that it would be released in time for the holidays this year. That particular trailer was filled with a number of explosions in slow motion from the point of view of the hero, Rico Rodriguez. Dubbed the "Firestarter," the trailer also featured a version of the popular song from Prodigy.
Coming to the GIFs which were released via Avalanche Studios' Twitter account, they did not reveal much about the game. As usual, action was centered on Rico as he uses his wing suit to fly over a field filled with flowers. In another scene he uses a helicopter that crashes and explodes on the ground.
It was revealed recently that there will be a 400- mile-wide map in the game. Players will be able to access any area in it when they start the game.
After the GIFs were unlocked, the developer sent out an image of the box art that will be used when the game is packaged.
As for the game itself, very little has been revealed so far by Avalanche Studios as all the trailers released so far have been CGI. Commenting on this, "Just Cause 3" game director Roland Lesterlin said they only wanted to release gameplay when it would impress fans and not before that point. The gameplay trailer will be launched for the open world game on April 28 at 9 a.m. ET.
