Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom rumors: Pop singer finally engaged to on-off boyfriend?

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom sparked engagement rumors after the pop singer was spotted wearing a ginormous diamond ring while out and about in New York City earlier this week.

On Monday, the "Fireworks" singer and her beau, Bloom, were seen on a date night at The Polo Bar in New York City. Bloom wore a winter parka, while Perry sported plaid Sophie Theallet separates matched with a camel-toned coat. As pointed out by Entertainment Tonight, Perry appeared to be intentionally showing off her new sparkler as photographers took photos of her with Bloom. "She walked with her left hand leading her, and bent her hand to show off the large sparkler to the cameras," an eyewitness told the publication.

Another photo shows the couple, who have been reportedly dating for 10 months, all smiles as they held hands while making their way into the establishment. The eyewitness also mentioned that the duo arrived around 8 p.m., and they seemed proud of their feelings for each other.

Even though she proudly flashed her diamond ring Monday night, Perry attended a UNICEF event the next day with noticeably bare hands. To date, reps for both personalities still have not given any statement about the engagement rumors. While Perry and Bloom have yet to officially confirm their relationship, the two have been rumored to be engaged for months now.

Back in August, a source revealed to People that the actor and singer are "not engaged yet, but seem to be heading that way." The source added that Bloom "always gushes about Katy and thinks she is amazing in a million ways. He would love to settle down with Katy and have more kids. He hasn't been this serious about a girl since Miranda [Kerr]."
