It appears that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will bring more than just the beloved Baymax, but also an evil counterpart of the lovable and huggable health companion.

The inclusion of the San Fransokyo was first announced last year at the D25 event. Its segment in "Kingdom Hearts 3" will chronicle the events that take place after the film.

Producer Roy Conli said in a video announcement that, "Not only will this allow us to explore all new adventures focused on great action, but we'll also get to see Baymax again."

"The themes in Big Hero 6 and Kingdom Hearts match very well. For instance, there's friendship, really important to both stories, and then of course light over darkness. The story will take place after the events of the film after Hiro and the gang have formed a heroic team," he explained.

This was followed by the release of a concept art by producer Shinji Hashimoto, which saw "Kingdom Hearts 3" protagonist Sora atop the Battlesuit armored Baymax as seen in the "Big Hero 6" film.

The heroes are caught in a battle overlooking the city against a villainous Baymax in black Heartless armor, as it is being described, thus earning the name Heartless Baymax.

This evil Baymax was revealed to be the original Baymax who sacrificed himself in the portal in the film. It turns out that he was corrupted by enemies, which led to the creation of Heartless Baymax.

The sinister Baymax is yet to be officially established in the "Big Hero 6" universe, but the upcoming television series set after the events in the movie should take care of that.

Inverse mentions a theory that the TV series will introduce evil Baymax to the fold there so that his addition to "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be seamless.

The game is expected to be released by March or April next year (Square Enix is yet to share th details on that) while the "Big Hero 6" TV series will premiere in January, which should be enough to bring the new baddie into play.
