The sequel to "Kingsman: The Secret Circle" will see that Eggsy's (Taron Egerton) mentor, after taking a bullet to the head, is alive. Meanwhile, the secret service based in the UK makes a visit to their US counterpart.

"Kingsman: The Golden Circle" will premiere in June 2017, and similar to its prequel, it will still be directed by Matthew Vaughn.

According to Empire Magazine, as confirmed by Comic Book Movie, "The Golden Circle" will revolve around the Kingsman teaming up with their US counterpart, the Statesman, to take down a villain that has attacked both their headquarters.

This villain is known as Poppy, and she will be played by American-British actress Julianne Moore.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Colin Firth will be back to reprise his role as Harry in "Kingsman: The Golden Circle."

It was first revealed by "Game of Thrones" actor Pedro Pascal in an Instagram post of him behind Firth. The post read, "Hide behind Harry. #SafePlace #Kingsman2 #TheGoldenCircle."

Egerton confirmed the news when he posted a photo on Twitter with Harry's glasses and a note saying, "Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated." Although how Harry survived the bullet to his head is yet to be revealed in "The Golden Circle."

Aside from Moore and Firth, Egerton and Mark Strong will be returning to reprise their roles as Eggsy and Merlin. Other cast members are Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, Jeff Bridges, Vinnie Jones, and Sir Elton John according to Digital Spy. Some of these stars will be playing as agents from the Statesman from the US

Vaughn shared that although fans are wanting to see another church action sequence, he has "no reason for a massacre to happen." But Vaughn reassures that he has other sequences that will satisfy the fans of the "Kingsman" film.

"Kingsman: The Golden Circle" premieres on June 17, 2017.
