Lady Gaga, Taylor Kinney news: singer-actress hints at the reason for their breakup

Hollywood once revered Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney's relationship, but the power couple made a shocking announcement back in July that they have officially called it quits.

But after maintaining her silence, the multi-awarded pop superstar finally opened up about the end of their engagement in a highly emotional interview with CBS Sunday Morning.

The "Perfect Illusion" singer said that she felt women in general tend to love deeply. "We just love with everything we have. And sometimes I don't know that that love is met with the type of dignity that we wish it would be met with," Gaga stated.

She also hinted in the interview that Kinney, with whom she had been for the past five years, might have felt emasculated because of her needs as a woman. "You know, we're not trying to make you less of a man," she also implied. "We just want you to love us as deeply and as wholesomely and as fully as we love you."

The singer-actress and the "Chicago Fire" actor first met when they were shooting the "You and I" music video. They began dating in July 2011 then announced their engagement in February 2015 until she announced that they are pausing from their engagement in August through her Instagram account. Yet the actress was hoping that their fans will continue rooting for them since they really love each other.

While the two has yet to be spotted together since the end of their engagement, rumors claimed in early November that Gaga and Kinney might be back together after the singer-actress was seen watching a Chicago Cubs game as reported by E! News.

While the two were not spotted in the same venue, speculations claimed that there might be a reconciliation going on since Kinney was also in the same state since the actor was shooting his TV series in Chicago.
