Apart from the myth that is "Half-Life 3," another game that fans would love for Valve to release is "Left 4 Dead 3," a brand new installment of its hit survival video game.

According to the latest reports, the title might be just around the corner. Rumor mills have it that the long-awaited series will be back next year.

It has been seven years since Valve released the second installment of series, which means that if they were working on "Left 4 Dead 3," it will likely be ready by now.

Reports suggest that the game will still have four playable characters with one female and the rest male. This was the same format in the previous games.

Also, like the previous iterations, this bunch is also of ragtag style with a comic book nerd, a Kenpo fighter and a gangster included. There were no details about the identity of the female character.

"Left 4 Dead 3" is also expected to feature six campaigns, one being the fan-favorite No Mercy. However, fans are advised to take this with a pinch of salt as Valve is yet to announce anything about the game.

Rumor mills insist that "Left 4 Dead 3" is coming next year and that Valve has been working on it. This is because during a tutorial video by Valve staff member Tristan Reidford, fans glimpsed a telling file.

It had the name "Left 4 Dead 3," which had fans believing that work is underway for the continuation of the hit horror first-person shooter.

However, PCGamer believes that it might have just been shown purposely to mess with fans, which might come as a little tasteless for those who have been actually waiting for the game.

At the moment, nothing is official yet, but if Valve has been indeed putting "Left 4 Dead 3" together for what could be one of the most sought after and internet-breaking comebacks yet, official details should follow soon.
