There is no official confirmation from Valve regarding the development of "Left 4 Dead 3." Still, many fans hope that the game studio will give the highly anticipated game sequel the go signal, although there are signs that Valve may have already begun brainstorming for the contents and features of the new video game.

Just recently, a leaked image reveals that Valve is already on its way to developing "Left 4 Dead 3." As reported by Mobile n Apps, the said leaked photo is a screenshot taken from a Valve employee when he was doing a tutorial video. The name of the Valve artist is Tristan Reidford, and the development tutorial where the supposed leaked screenshot came from is for the Destinations Workshop Tools.

Specifically, people can see in the screenshot that Reidford has a folder in his desktop named "left4dead3." This further strengthens the speculation of the fans that Valve has already started to develop the new sequel that will follow the "Left 4 Dead 2," which was first released in 2010. However, the said leaked photo was taken down and was supposedly replaced with the "corrected" image that only shows the Valve artist's default folders. This action alone suggests that the ongoing development of "Left 4 Dead 3" is being kept under wraps, and Valve may not be ready to reveal the big news to the public just yet.

Furthermore, the online publication reported that the fans may not need to wait longer before "Left 4 Dead 3" is finally released. It is rumored that the upcoming game sequel will arrive as early as 2017. If that is to happen, then Valve must already be very busy in creating the game this year. Some of the possible upgrades in the sequel are the enhanced graphics and gameplay settings that will match today's generation of home consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
