Apart from a whole host of comic book characters, "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will also feature notable people from history, one of which is Albert Einstein himself.

At some point in the new season, the group will be returning to the olden times where they will get to meet with the renowned physicist.

In the "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 trailer, Einstein will be kidnapped by the Waverider crew as part of their mission. Tasked with the job are Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell) and Dr. Stein (Victor Garber).

Mick called Einstein a "pig" after seeing him flirt with two ladies at the same time. Stein, on the other hand, was not so subtle in the attempt to get Einstein and punched him in the face.

Although the heroes are not necessarily known for their subtlety, this is likely a way for them to get the target or it is the backup plan, which they almost always need.

With the intellect of Einstein, the group may need him to figure something out in "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2.

Another historical figure to be featured in the new season if the Queen of France, which as Sara (Caity Lotz) claimed, "seduced" the assassin. The two were shown in the trailer in a steamy scene.

Rip, of course, warns her of the possibilities of this messing the timeline, but the White Canary reasons that the queen was the one who made the first move.

Meanwhile, the "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 trailer also gave glimpses of the Reverse Flash (Matt Letscher), who will be part of the big bad group Legion of Doom, and Stargirl (played by Sara Grey), a member of the Justice Society of America (JSA).

Stein and Jax (Franz Drameh) are also seen in trouble with a young royal who want their heads cut off as entertainment.

"Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 will premiere on Thursday, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW.
