With a Fall premiere targeted for DC's "Legends of Tomorrow's" return to The CW, fans are wondering who will be joining season 2 as villains and heroes. There's also talk that the Justice Society of America would also be playing a huge part in the second season. So what could viewers expect?

First off, it has been confirmed that Vixen will be part of "Legends of Tomorrow." As for Kendra/Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée) and Carter/Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), it appears they won't be coming back for the second season after opting not to embark on the team's new journey as Time Masters. That being said, there are several voids that need filling up in the upcoming season.

Vixen, who was already introduced in "Arrow" season 4, has filled one void, but there's no word yet if she would be a recurring character or a series regular. Apparently, Vixen is a member of the Justice Society, so it's more than likely that she works for or with Rex Tyler/Hourman (Patrick J. Adams) who appeared before season 1 ended.

The involvement of several members of the Justice Society of America (JSA) in "Legends of Tomorrow" could well be an indication that JSA would play an integral part in season 2.

"For comic book fans, everyone knows the Justice Society is really the precursor to the Justice League, so it's a pretty big move," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told The Hollywood Reporter.

It would be remembered that Hourman warned the Legends team that they would all die if they took off as Time Masters.

"With his final words in the finale, he planted a pretty deep flag about where we're headed in season two, which is not just introducing Hourman but introducing his teammates in the Justice Society of America," said Guggenheim.

Aside from the entry of Hourman and the JSA, several new faces, a set timeline, and the elimination of the Time Council will make "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 even more interesting. It appears as if the Legends team would have the responsibility of preserving the timeline and protecting history, and given their acquired reputation as misfits, it would be fun anticipating what goes on in season 2.

Fans could expect a "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 Fall premiere on The CW.
