Lenovo has been pretty busy this year with already several releases under its sleeves. According to the latest reports, the company has recently launched the new A6600 Smartphone. The handset has been a favorite subject of numerous reports across the internet, which is said to target the low-end market. The device was secretly launched in India and immediately gone on sale on various offline retailers.

According to a report by GSMArena, the Lenovo A6600 is powered by a quad-core 1GHz MT6735P processor from MediaTek. It also carries a 5-inch screen with HD display technology. The processor is paired with 1 GB RAM and an internal storage capacity of 16 GB. According to the report, the device's storage is expandable to up to 32 GB via SD card. The handset also has a decent 2,300 mAh battery. The Lenovo A6600 will run on Android Marshmallow OS; however, there is still no report suggesting if the device will soon get the Android 7.0 Nougat update.

The new Lenovo smartphone is listed with an 8 MP primary camera packed with LED Flash. It also carries a 2 MP front-facing shooter. The device also supports dual SIM compatible for 2G/3G/4G/ & VoLTE connections. Aside from its preinstalled Android OS, the Lenovo A6600 will also come with the company's very own software applications such as Sync It, Share It, SEEit Gallery and SNAPit Camera.

The Lenovo A6600 is currently available with a price tag of INR 6,999 or around $105. It is definitely a cheap smartphone with decent specs. As of the moment, there is no report suggesting whether the device will ever make it in the western markets.

Meanwhile, in a report by GameNGuide, the Chinese multinational technology company is also expected to release two more devices in India—the Lenovo Zuk Z2 and the Lenovo Z2 Plus. The two handsets were already launched last May in China and will soon make their way to the tight smartphone market in India.
