Lenovo has revealed its latest lineup of ThinkPad laptops to be released in 2017. The newest notebooks feature the newest technologies including Intel's seventh-generation Kaby Lake processors. Lenovo's laptops were updated with customer feedback in mind to ensure that the products continue to be excellent, innovative and high quality.

Aside from having the latest Intel Core chipsets, all of Lenovo's ThinkPad laptops in 2017 will gain a redesigned TouchPad. It is more premium, has a cleaner design and provides a more consistent trackpad experience for users. Other than the classic ThinkPad black, some of the new models will also be available in a new silver color for consumers looking for more stylish options.

The new lineup will also come preinstalled with Windows 10 with optimized Microsoft Signature Image to provide users with a clean and fast system. The available infrared camera has been equipped with facial recognition software. It is compatible with Windows Hello which provides users with a secure yet password-free way of accessing their laptop. For more security, the Biometric Match on Chip Fingerprint sensor also strongly processes data within the sensor and all fingerprint images are handled by the fingerprint processing unit.

Connectivity-wise, the recently introduced ThinkPad laptops gain USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support that can guard against incorrect power levels. There is also constant access to the internet via Wi-Fi and LTE connections.

Some of the laptops in the lineup include the ThinkPad X270 ($909), a 12.5-inch notebook built for serious business mobility, and the ThinkPad Yoga 370 ($1264), a 13.3-inch thin and light 2-in-1 notebook that can be used for different kinds of tasks. Both will be available starting March 2017.

Meanwhile, the 13.3-inch ThinkPad 13 ($674) achieves a perfect balance between mobility and productivity. The laptop was designed with performance and value in mind which makes it perfect for businesses and educational institutions. It will be available in January 2017.

Lenovo also updated its ThinkPad T Series business laptops. The devices are as powerful as ever, making it suitable for work, but are now sleeker, lighter and thinner. This means that users can work even while on the go. The ThinkPad T470s ($909) and ThinkPad T470 ($914) will be released in February 2017 while the ThinkPad T570 ($909) and ThinkPad T470p ($1049) will be available starting March 2017.
