'Lethal Weapon' season 1 episode 7 spoilers: The D.E.A. gets a taste of Riggs and Murtaugh's crime-fighting antics

LAPD's finest troublemakers are about to cross paths with the Drug Enforcement Administration (D.E.A.) in next week's episode of "Lethal Weapon." On top of getting entangled with a highly dangerous underground investigation, Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) will also have to contend with their own personal issues.

Titled "Fashion Police", episode 7 of FOX's action-comedy series puts the odd couple on a case involving fashion, murder and drugs. When one of Los Angeles' top fashion expeditors is murdered, Riggs and Murtaugh comb through a trail of evidence that ultimately leads them at a crossroads with the D.E.A., who has apparently been conducting an ongoing investigation involving LAPD's dead body.

The episode synopsis also hints on Trish (Keesha Sharp) leaving her husband with a personal challenge as she and their older kids go off to check out colleges.

Meanwhile, Riggs' dreams about his late wife Miranda (Floriana Lima) become much too real for his liking. Could his previous encounter with Miranda's friend have triggered this, and will he really be able to hold himself well on the field with little to no sleep? Knowing Riggs, he seems like someone who becomes more active the less sleep he has.

The preview for the episode sheds more light on the duo's predicaments as Murtaugh is shown bringing his youngest child to work in a baby carrier, and Riggs' usual impulsiveness seems to have gone several notches higher due to lack of sleep.

To top it off, D.E.A. agent Karen (Hilarie Burton) is not taking very well to the odd couple's antics and even personally pays Capt. Avery (Kevin Rahm) a visit to complain about the duo's tendency to literally blow things up.

Will Riggs and Murtaugh curb their ways a little in order to work more favorably with the D.E.A.? Or will their natural propensity for trouble ultimately help them solve their case?

"Lethal Weapon" season 1 episode 7 airs on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
