LG V20 release date, specs rumors 2016: Latest renders leaked online; to boast improved sound system with quad DAC, dual camera
The upcoming LG V20 smartphone is expected to surpass its predecessor, LG V20, and that is only considering their sound system. LG has already confirmed that the next iteration of their smartphone flagship will be released later this year, but even after the confirmation, there are only a few details known about the specs and features of LG V20.
Those who are after the best audio experience in this generation's smartphones will be delighted as the upcoming LG V20 is said to be the first device to boast a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad digital to analog converter (DAC) system. This sound system is going to be a huge step ahead of LG V10's audio feature, Droid Life has learned.
It will be tricky for LG to promote LG V20 as there are users who are not nitpicky when it comes to the audio quality of their smartphone, although there are some who are after the special sound features, and the best way to make this happen is with the use of a DAC.
With LG V20's built-in DAC, it can be expected that the users will need to use a wired headset to connect to their device. The wireless headphones will boast better audio quality compared to the previous sound system that uses the usual 3.5-mm earbud connector.
Meanwhile, latest leaked renders posted by GSM Arena revealed that LG V20 will also feature a dual camera on the back, which is similar with that of LG G5. This setup has a wide angle fix-focus sensor for better image captures. Moreover, LG V20 is expected to have 5.7-inch Quad HD screen display and Snapdragon 820 chipset, accompanied by 4GB worth of RAM.
LG did not confirm earlier that the LG V20 will be released at a specific date this year, but the company said that it will arrive by 2016's third quarter. However, recent reports suggest that the smartphone will be unveiled by LG this September.
