Several reports have emerged suggesting that LG is getting ready to launch the success of LG V10. The new LG V20 smartphone has been a hot topic lately amongst tech observers. According to reports, the new device will be packed with advanced specifications and amazing features. It is said to come out in about a week and rumor has it that LG is planning to make the new V20 a worthy challenger of the mighty iPhone 7, which is expected to come out on Sept. 7.

According to a report by Tech Times, the new smartphone will carry a 5.7 inch IPS LCD screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. According to the publication, there is a possibility that LG will use the same display technology of the previous model to the new one. The company will most likely include a different display system on top of the handset's regular screen.

Although nothing has been set on stone yet, there are speculations saying that the new LG V20 will run on a Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm paired with either 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. Rumor has it that the new device will come in three storage variants – the 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB. The previous model only had two versions, which were the 32 GB and 64 GB models. What's interesting is that the 128 GB storage version of the new LG V20 is said to be expandable for more storage space.

Meanwhile, new reports have surfaced that LG has already confirmed the launching of the device in September with Google's Android 7.0 Nougat. Previous rumors suggested that the full version of the new operating system will debut on a Nexus device. If rumors prove to be true, the new LG V20 may not be released until Google releases the new Nexus Marlin and Nexus Sailfish smartphones.
