'Longmire' season 6 air date news, spoilers: Netflix renews show? Who is Vic's baby daddy?

The crime drama televisions series "Longmire" just ended its season 5 and now, fans are wondering if it will ever get a continuation in the form of season 6. Netflix has not made any announcements yet regarding a renewal, but fans are hopeful.

Rumors are also rife that the show, which is based on the "Walt Longmire" mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson, will be, in fact, getting a season 6. If the speculations prove to be true, it is expected to air its first episode sometime in early fall of 2017.

Reports even say that main star Robert Taylor, who plays as Walt Longmire, and author Johnson confirmed that the show will still see the light of day next year. However, nothing is official yet, so it's best to take the reports with a grain of salt.

However, there's a high chance that the series will live for one more round as season 5 left off with so many cliffhangers. The only way to resolve those loose ends is through a renewal of the show. Before season 5 ended, it was found out that Vic Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) is pregnant.

Spoilers reveal that Vic is not sure who the baby daddy is. It's also said that she will be getting a new guy. Her love for Walt remains as is, though, and it's expected that the entrance of a new romance in Vic's life is going to complicate things further. Moreover, Cady is predicted to still have issues with her father while Henry is still naive just like he has always been from the start of the season.
