'Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood' news 2016: Omarion and Apryl Jones confirm breakup

VH1's "Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood" stars Omarion and Apryl Jones have decided to end their relationship. The two had been dating since 2012. Unfortunately, after four years of being together, the R&B singer and his longtime girlfriend decided that they are better off without each other.

Omarion confirmed the news via his Instagram account wherein he posted an announcement about their breakup. He wrote that the post is going to be his first and last public statement regarding the issue. He then said, "The beautiful and talented mother of my children for whom I hold the highest regard and respect, Apryl Jones, and I have mutually decided to end our relationship."

Before ending the post, he mentioned that despite their separation, they will remain friends and continue to co-parent their two children, 2-year old Megaa and 4-month old A'mei Kazuko.

The reason for their split is vague but reports claim that they broke up simply because they "started to fade out of love" for each other. A source tipped E! News that the two had been going through some issues with their relationship for some time already. They reportedly tried to make it work and find resolution to their problem. However, they were not able to meet in the middle.

It's also said that Omarion's travels have already taken a toll on Apryl. The future for the two is still unknown but as of the moment, reports said that Apryl will be moving out and will be getting her own place.

Omarion, whose real name is Omari Ishmael Grandberry, received support from his buddy, rapper Bow Wow. However, it was the kind of support that had fans reacting to his idea of helping Omarion out with the breakup.

The "Shortie Like Mine" rapper posted a photo of himself with Omarion on his Instagram account, along with a caption saying that Omarion finally has his freedom. He also indicated that he will take his new single buddy to the strip club to cheer him up. Although Bow Wow was just kidding, several observers still reacted. As for Apryl's reaction, she said that she's just going to focus on her two children.
