MacBook Pro 2016 release date and specs rumors: Flagship laptop to come out better than ever?
The MacBook Pro 2016 is definitely making a lot of noise in the tech industry for the last few months. It has been a favorite subject of discussions amongst industry experts and some fans on online forums and across social media platforms. According to the popular Apple analyst Ming-chi Kuo, the laptop will surprise many people as the company is taking a huge step in creating this new model.
Apple is certainly making sure that they will release the new laptop with the standard higher than the current one set by the competition. The new device is expected to take over as Apple's new flagship laptop replacing the MacBook Air. Ming-chi Kuo added that the new MacBook Pro 2016 will come out thinner and lighter than its predecessors. What's interesting is that it is said to carry impressive specs and features that never been found on their past releases.
The respected analyst has also included in his prediction that the new MacBook Pro 2016 will be revealed in the last quarter of this year. Other features to be expected include the Touch ID, OLED display touch bar, USB-C port and Thunderbolt 3.
"While long overlooked, the MacBook line is the brightest spot for Apple's 2016 rollouts," Kuo noted in a report by BGR. "This is particularly true of the two new MacBook Pro models, to be introduced in 4Q16, as they will have a thinner and lighter form factor, Touch ID, use OLED display touch bar (to replace physical function keys, located above the keyboard) and adopt USB- C / Thunderbolt 3."
Meanwhile, the OLED display touch bar is said to be replacing the old function keys located right above the keyboard.
As of the moment, Apple has yet to provide significant information regarding the device's development and release date. All rumors and speculations must be taken with a grain of salt until the Cupertino-based company decides to release an official statement.
