Apple's launch of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus was a big success. But many of the fans were anticipating another product — the MacBook Pro 2016. Unfortunately, it did not come out alongside the new smartphones. Recent reports suggest though that it will be launched soon.

According to reports, the MacBook Pro 2016 will arrive before October ends. There is no specific date for it but rumor has it that the big day could be on Oct. 27. Several are excited already to catch the new laptop as it is said to come with major upgrades and features.

Earlier reports already mentioned that the upcoming laptop could be coming with Touch ID support and an OLED touch bar that will replace the traditional functional keys. This new feature will be made possible with the incorporation of the macOS 10.12.1 and Apple is reportedly working on the new operating system to make it available for the device.

It's also said that it will be coming with a larger ForceTouch trackpad and a fingerprint scanner that will increase security. It will be used to identify owners with just a single tap.

Latest news also suggested that Apple will be introducing a new magic keyboard. Word has it that the company is working with Sonder Design to make this happen.

However, in a Reddit thread, the Australian-based design studio denied any partnership with Apple. Replying to a comment from one of the users, Sonder said: "We did not meet Tim Cook on Wednesday 12th October 2016 although we would very like the opportunity to."

Fans can bid goodbye to this feature for now then. The MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to come in two variants, the 13-inch and 15-inch just like the previous model but it's said that the new one will be sporting a slimmer aluminum chassis.

As of now, nothing is confirmed or official yet so it's best to take reports with a pinch of salt. Interested consumers should stay tuned for more updates.
