'Madden NFL 17' release date news: Teams and players ranked; soundtrack launching
The next installment in EA Sports' NFL game series, "Madden NFL 17," will be coming out this Aug 23, and fans could not be more excited. To prepare for the game's release, the ranking of teams and players have been revealed. Also, the game's soundtrack will be made available with the release of the game.
EA Sports has revealed full team ratings for the teams, and the biggest change seems to come with the Denver Broncos, who have recently lost their star quarterback, Peyton Manning, who has officially retired. That puts the Broncos behind teams like the Oakland Raiders.
That's still no worse than the Cleveland Browns, who have the current lowest rating: a score of 73.
The top of the NFC list has the Carolina Panthers, and the AFC has the New England Patriots; this comes as no surprise to fans, as both teams have managed to maintain a good track record during the offseason.
These ratings shouldn't pose that much of a threat to those teams, however, as those numbers could change as the season passes by.
Meanwhile, the game is set to have a soundtrack that includes a heavy list of country songs. The soundtrack will have over 40 tracks including country stars like Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Brantley Gilbert, High Valley, and Goodbye June.
"Straight Outta Cold Beer," which one of the songs from Shelton's "If I'm Honest" album, will be included in the soundtrack, along with country hits like "It's About to Get Dirty," "Young Forever," "Acting Our Age," and "Oh No."
People who aren't fans of country music shouldn't worry either. The country songs are just part of the game's versatile playlist which includes artists like 2 Chainz and Young the Giant.
"Madden NFL 17" will hit shelves this coming Aug. 23, 2017.
