'Mafia III' tips and tricks: Tip allows players to farm endless money
Fans of the gangster genre of games are currently enjoying the release of 2K Games' "Mafia III" game, and a lot of players have been going online to look for some tips on the game — after all, building a criminal empire isn't easy, and players need all the help that they can get.
According to Gamerant, a new method of farming has been discovered by some players. As players progress naturally throughout the game, they eventually speak to Donovan in New Bordeux downtown. Players should choose the Blackmail mission, and they would notice that there are red blips on their map. These red blips represent "bag men" and they carry a load of cash with them.
Players should just ignore the main mission and start following the bag men car until it stops. Once people from the car come out, players should just kill them and collect the cash that's leftover — an amount of a few thousand dollars each time.
This process can be repeated endlessly by the player, and it only stops once the mission is completed. The process may seem cheap, but it makes good money.
Another way to get special items and money is hacking junction boxes around town. There are about 89 junction boxes in New Bordeux, and they're marked by a grey upside-down U logo. Players have to wiretap the boxes, and to do so, they should collect fuses around town. They're marked with green on the maps, and players need three in order to wiretap one box.
By wiretapping all the boxes, players can find on their maps more special items and goods available in every district. It also highlights the location of enemies on maps so players can better plan their next attacks.
"Mafia III" is now available on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
