'Married at First Sight: The First Year' Premiere Date and Spoilers: 8 One-Hour Episodes Coming 2015
FYI is to premiere "Married at First Sight: The First Year" on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, 9 p.m. It will consist of eight one-hour episodes, which means it will air for approximately two months.
We remember the season finale of "Married at First Sight" having produced two couples who decided to stay married and one couple who decided that marriage wasn't for them yet.
"Married at First Sight: The First Year" will follow the lives of the two remaining couples, Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner, and Cortney Hendrix and Jason Carrion, and see whether they can make it through their first year. The production team will follow the couples' journey from their sixth month to their first year anniversary in March 2015.
Fans will be seeing the couples' many "firsts" together, including their first holidays, moving in to their new homes, and other things newly married couples do. As usual, the couples will also be under the guidance of psychologist Dr. Logan Levkoff and sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz.
Fans of the show are looking forward to see what the couples have been up to since the "Married at First Sight" season finale. Those who follow them on social media know that the couples have been house-hunting. Jamie and Doug seem to be going in the right direction and appear to be really happy with their decision.
On the other hand, Jason Carrion just graduated from the firefighting academy and his career seems to be going well. Cortney, meanwhile, is already thinking about having babies. The show will also follow the third couple from the first season who decided to divorce, and see whether they made the right decision.
