'Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite' release date, news: leaker says there'll be interesting additions to the Capcom side of the roster
Capcom may have officially announced that "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" is coming out soon last month, but they didn't really share much information. Who are the characters that are going to be in the game? Will X-Men characters appear in the game?
NeoGAF member Ryce was famous for leaking a lot of information about "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" before it was even announced, and now he's back to share some more details about the game's roster. Ryce said he didn't want to spoil the game by revealing too much, but he hinted that an obscure Capcom villain would be part of the game.
He also said there will be a surprising addition to the Capcom side of the roster and that "the animators deserve a raise for getting this character into the game." Sounds interesting. He went on to say that "the roster is going to be so sick." Fans who are a little worried that the roster may not be as good this time can breathe a sigh of relief if this is true.
Meanwhile, a Redditor using the handle Ten_Count_Fall recently posted details about the game's roster and other information as well. It's a very elaborate list, but Ryce pointed out that the leak was fake. "Guys, that list is 100% BS. I've heard things that debunk it," he stated. If the list is fake, then someone actually took a lot of time to make up all of this.
As Dustin Steiner of PVP Live noted in his piece about the leak, it's just hard to imagine a huge character like Fin Fang Foom being included in the game. Are they going to shrink his size so he can fit in the screen?
Sources believe "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will come out in late 2017. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
