"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." recently ended its season 3 with a cliffhanging extended post-credits that showed what will happen in six months' time, particularly with Daisy "Skye" Johnson (Chloe Bennet). Daisy, who has seemingly gone rogue and on the run, is being chased by Phil Coulson's (Clark Gregg) team. Meanwhile, scientist Dr. Holden Radcliffe (John Hannah) is cooking up something that might involve dead humans coming back to life by way of duplicates.

According to co-executive producer Jed Whedon in his interview with The Hollywood Reporter, "It's safe to surmise from what you see at the end that she has returned to her root of being a loner." The finale scenes show several newspaper cutouts plastered on a wall before focusing on Coulson who is spying on the wife and the young daughter of the late inhuman Charles Hinton (Bjorn Johnson) as they are later on approached by Daisy. The newspaper headlines highlight the bothersome activities of Quake, moniker of the Inhuman figure of Daisy, who seems to have been going around the country causing damages. Her actions also seem to be predictable with such a pattern that can easily be traced especially by the S.H.I.E.L.D., her former team.

Daisy is then heard telling the daughter that she wants to introduce her to a friend who happens to like animals too just like the little girl does. This can be interpreted as Daisy referring to her father, Calvin Zabo (Kyle MacLachlan), who has returned to being a regular veterinarian after his stint as supervillain Mister Hyde.

This gap in the relationship between Daisy and her former team may be a major theme in the upcoming season of the superhero series. Fans will have to find out whether or not there will be a chance for the technology genius Daisy to return to S.H.I.E.L.D. or if she will retain her Inhuman identity Quake and operate independently.

Meanwhile, after witnessing Daisy on the run, the season three finale scenes shift to another that teases about LMD which stands for Life-Model Decoy, an exact copy of an actual human being. Radcliffe's computer monitor is shown with the label "LMD Phase 1" which can be the name of a project he will be launching. About this, Whedon told IGN, "We can say very little, but we can say Radcliffe, he has a good heart, but he's dead set on scientific advancement." Radcliffe said during his conversation with his artificial intelligence system AIDA that Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) had friends who passed and that they did not have to. To this, showrunner Whedon remarks that the character believes that he is solving a problem with his project. It will be revealed in the upcoming season if Radcliffe's initiatives will become more of a problem or a solution.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 will premiere later this year.
