BioWare's upcoming "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is already slated for a March 2017 release date — given that game publisher Electronic Arts (EA) will not announce a delay. Nevertheless, anticipating players can now preorder the game through the Origin store, and can even choose from the regular or deluxe edition of the game.

Anyone who preorders the game will get bonuses such as the Deep Space Explorer Armor, an additional ship skin called Nomad, and a booster pack that contains five XP boosters.

The standard edition of the game sells at $59.99 while the Deluxe Edition is up for $69.99. A Super Deluxe Edition is also available for $99.99.

Those who choose the Deluxe Edition will get the Pathfinder Causal Outfit, Pathfinder Elite Weapon set, Scavenger Armor, a space Monkey pet named Pyjack, a multiplayer deluxe launch pack that contains weapons and equipment that are useful for co-op missions, and a digital download of the game's soundtracks.

The Super Deluxe Edition will also get all the inclusions from the Deluxe Edition, plus additional multiplayer Super Deluxe edition booster packs which provide a co-op premium pack each week for twenty weeks after release.

In an interview with OPM UK, BioWare producer Michael Gamble explained the central premise of the upcoming "Mass Effect: Andromeda" game. Gamble said that the game is basically about galactic exploration.

"The premise is about galactic exploration. It's much like modern day Elon Musk-ism, which is: I wonder if we can get here? I wonder if we can do that?" Gamble said. Adding that "Andromeda is a human story, but much like on Earth where we would have people from all walks of life join these expeditions, the same thing happens in the Milky Way — all different types of races join this expedition, and we do it as one concerted effort as opposed to separate people doing separate things."

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One upon release.
