'Mass Effect: Andromeda' latest update: preorder, predownload up for grabs; beta play expected to come soon

Gamers have been waiting long and hard for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" to come out for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 (PS4). Now that it is coming in a few months' time, enthusiasts can now preorder or predownload the game before it hits the shelves.

Players who are anxious to get "Mass Effect: Andromeda" are sure to get the preorder and predownload that are available on their respective platform's retail store. Owners of Xbox One can grab the preorder and download on the Microsoft Store. The offer comes in three versions, which includes the Super Deluxe edition for the hardcore fans. There are lots of bonus items and perks included in the pack as well.

PC and PS4 players can grab their copy through the Origin and PlayStation Store. However, both stores have not announced the start of the predownload yet. This means Xbox One players are the only ones who can predownload the game for now.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, the title may necessitate a huge amount of space as it seems like a massive game. Those who are buying the title digitally may want to ensure that the title is already downloadable before its release; otherwise, they may suffer long hours to download the game due to busy servers.

Meanwhile, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is having a multiplayer mode soon, as announced by BioWare back in November. Gamers can participate in the prerelease play event on the developer's website. It is good to note, though, that no announcement has been out yet if a beta play is included. Some believe that BioWare will give out details before this month ends.

The multiplayer mode will connect the title's campaign. It is expected that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will allow players to be more active as compared to "Mass Effect 3," according to GameSpot. The upcoming game will bring out enemies, prompting them to come out from hiding, or seek cover.
