With "Mass Effect: Andromeda" already nabbing a specific release date, fans can now move on to other aspects of the game that may have yet been revealed, one of which is the question regarding season passes which apparently would not be rolled out for the much-clamored releases.

In a Twitter conversation, BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn confirmed that there will be no season passes for "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Given his answer, gamers quickly wondered how expansion packs will be launched should there be any of those. Supplementary questions regarding story downloadable contents (DLCs) plagued the company exec, to which he unfortunately became coy about, replying nothing else but "We'll talk more about that later :)."

While any possibility of new content coming to "Mass Effect: Andromeda" after its release is still in limbo as of now, fans can take solace in a more honed multiplayer mode for the title. In an exclusive chit-chat with Kotaku Australia, game producer Mike Gamble talked more about the online cooperative gameplay and how it will affect the game's campaign mode.

"There's a system that we use called the Strike Team system, and fundamentally it allows you to go between singleplayer and multiplayer within the game," he explained. "And it's packaged around a meta-story of what's going on in Helios."

When pressed for any more details he was willing to divulge, Gamble would not bulge especially about the story that the whole game is hooked into. But he hints of a "pretty seamless" transition between the singleplayer and multiplayer making it easier for players to go back and forth.

"I can tell you that there's a loading screen — it's not entirely seamless — but it won't require you to stop your game and restart in a different mode. Because narratively it's all connected, it makes a lot of sense," he continued.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" will land on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox one on March 21 for North American players. Meanwhile, European fans will have to wait until the 23rd to get their hands on the action role-playing title.
