Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan is eager to make a sequel to the 2004 classic teen movie "Mean Girls" that she already wrote a treatment for the film and even has a cast in mind.

During a Facebook Live interview on CNN last Thursday, Dec. 29, Lohan said that she is ready and waiting to create a sequel to the mega-hit high school movie. She has even admitted to somehow taking matters into her own hands to make it happen.

"I have been trying so hard to do a 'Mean Girls 2.' It is not in my hands," Lohan said. "I know that [writer] Tina Fey and [producer] Lorne Michaels and all of Paramount are very busy... I will keep forcing it and pushing it on them until we do it," the actress added.

Lohan even mentioned some casting suggestions for the "Mean Girls" sequel, hoping to include talk show host and comedian Jimmy Fallon and former "Freak Friday" co-star Jamie Lee Curtis in the film.

"I've already written a treatment for it, so I just need a response," she said lightly.

It can be recalled that two years ago, Lohan shared her idea for a "Mean Girls" sequel with Time Out London, saying, "I was with Tina Fey ['Mean Girls' writer] the other day and I said we should do another 'Mean Girls,' like an older version where they're all housewives and they're all cheating."

"Mean Girls" centered on Lohan's character, Cady Heron, who started high school as a homeschooled and innocent teenage girl who just wanted to fit in. However, she ends up joining their school's most popular and influential clique, "The Plastics," who claim to be friends but are hell-bent on sabotaging one another behind each other's backs.

Aside from Lohan, "Mean Girls" starred actors such as Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, and Lizzy Caplan, all of whom, according to Variety, have had successful acting careers long after the film.
