'Metal Gear Solid 5' release date news 2016: 'Definitive Experience' to be released this October

The many years of partnership between Hideo Kojima and Konami have spawned the very successful shooter game series, "Metal Gear Solid." The massive hit video game franchise based on tactical espionage had its latest installment released last year, "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain." Unfortunately for the fans of the series, Kojima and Konami had a dispute that later on caused the former to tender his resignation as the game creator. Many people thought that "The Phantom Pain" would be the last from the franchise because of Konami's resignation. However, it was revealed recently that Konami will be releasing a "Metal Gear Solid V" special edition called the "Definitive Experience"

As reported by Kotaku, the upcoming "Metal Gear Solid V" special game edition will include all the DLCs released for the game title for the past several months. It will also be merging the main story of "The Phantom Pain" with the stand-alone prologue chapter called "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes."

This has proven that even after Kojima severed his ties with the Japanese game studio, the "Metal Gear Solid" series would still live on, just like what the fans have seen when Konami announced the "Metal Gear Survive." To recall, the latest chapter of the "Metal Solid V" saga tells the story of Snake, the main protagonist of the past game titles, but is now hungry for revenge after the enemy destroyed his army back in "Ground Zeroes."

According to the latest report, "Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience" will arrive on October 11 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One home consoles. On the other hand, the Lazy Gamer reported that the gamers have not seen everything yet from "Metal Gear Solid V," as Konami is expected to release more missions in the near future. This is even the so-called Mission 51 was cancelled after being geared up for release earlier this year. Not even the company itself knows when will the very last mission for the game will arrive.
