Michael Schumacher Condition Latest News Update: F1 Racer Making Progress
Michael Schumacher could be home for Christmas this year and there's a good chance that he'll be out of the clinic in Switzerland just in time before the holiday season starts, according to a report from German media outlet Focus.
However, there's still no concrete info on how much time he needs to spend to fully recover, given that his family remains tight-lipped on any further details regarding his condition. Ferrari Team boss Stefano Domenicali, who claims that Schumacher was the driver that he had the "best relation" with, understands why the racer's family would keep a low profile even from some of his close friends.
"We are in contact and they tell me that there is small, continuous progress. I know that we all hope that this terrible waiting will end in the best way. Unfortunately we just have to wait," said the Ferrari team boss.
In the same report, it was mentioned that "nobody" is prepared as to how long it will take for him to get his motor skills going, and let alone, the ability to speak.
But life certainly goes on for the Schumacher family. Recently this week, F1 racer's wife replied to a young fan, Aidan, thanking him for his book titled "Ferrari Adventure".
"I would like to thank you for your best wishes and your kind present, which help us to move forward in those difficult moments. Our Michael is a fighter and he will never give up," Mrs. Schumacher personally replied to the young fan who penned the book. The nine-year-old fan was "thrilled" upon receiving the reply and certainly hopes for the speedy recovery of his F1 Racing Hero.
"It was unreal to get the message from Michael Schumacher's wife. I have a huge interest in motor racing and knew all about his achievements. He is very brave and I hope he gets well soon," the young writer said.
