Michael Schumacher health condition news 2016: Health is still 'so difficult,' says manager Sabine Kehm
The seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher still continues to recover from severe injuries to the head which he sustained from a skiing accident back in December 2013.
Fans of the racing champ as well as those from the world of car racing also constantly look for fresh updates regarding Schumacher's present health condition, although these have been scarce so far.
The champion racer's long-time manager, Sabine Kehm, remains the only link of the outside world to news about the living legend. However, she is unable to give more details on the matter.
"Michael will not disappear but at the moment the private situation is so difficult that unfortunately no insight can be given," Kehm shared with Daily Express.
She asked for more understanding from the public regarding the news blackout that the family is keeping on Schumacher's health status, reiterating that she as well could not divulge any more than she has already revealed.
A previous report confirmed this "difficult" situation where Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, former Ferrari chairman, talked about Schumacher's present condition.
"I'm very pleased to know that he is reacting. I know how strong he is. I'm sure that thanks to his determination; which will be crucial, he will come out from this very, very difficult situation," he said.
It is an unspoken fact that the expense involved in providing the continued round-the-clock care and treatment of Schumacher is quite considerable. In this regard, a report has come out that the racer's family is having some financial concerns, which prompted them to put up for sale the Mercedes E55 AMG that is considered dear to the champion.
The Schumacher family continues to keep their silence following this report. No word has also been disclosed from their camp to confirm or refute statements which have been made regarding the champion racer's real condition.
Since the call for a media blackout continues, fans have turned their attention to "Champions for Charity," a charity football match that is being held in honor of the star racer. This is also a statement of gratitude directed toward Schumacher's multitude of fans for the unwavering support they have shown amid the health issues the legend is facing, according to Kehm.
The match will be participated in by the Nazionale Piloti and German NBA champ Dirk Nowitzki's team, to be held at Coface Arena in Mainz, Germany on Wednesday, July 27.
