Michael Schumacher health condition latest news: Racing memorabilia to be displayed in Schumi's hometown
Fans of Formula 1 race car driver Michael Schumacher still have no information about the driver's health condition. However, the official spokesperson for their family announced that Schumi's personal racing memorabilia will be put on display for the public next year in his hometown in Kerpen, Germany.
For the uninitiated, Schumacher is a seven-time world champion F1 driver whose career was abruptly cut short when he got into a skiing accident in December 2013. The German racer suffered from severe head injuries which puy him in a coma for almost six months. Schumacher's family has transported him to their home in Switzerland for privacy and round-the-clock care.
Since the F1 driver's family has kept their silence through the years, various reports have circulated ever since. Many speculated that Schumacher has been able to walk with the help of a therapist. Other publications, on the other hand, falsely reported his death.
Fans of the driver will be able to appreciate and witness his racing memorabilia, as it will be open to the public starting next year.
In a statement for the upcoming display, Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm said to F1, "It is the heart's desire of Michael's family that all interested fans should get to see Michael's collection without having to pay an admission charge."
She then added, "It will enable them to revel in memories and bring those great times back to life again.
"The location's proximity to Kerpen, and the passion for motoring that it radiates, were two other excellent reasons for this collaboration."
The F1 community acknowledged the race car driver as the most successful driver in F1 history. Schumacher has a total of 91 wins and 68 pole positions.
Schumacher's family has kept his health condition a secret through the years. They have yet to make an official statement about Michael Schumacher's current health condition. To note, official statements are only conveyed by Shumacher's manager. The race car driver hasn't been seen since his accident in 2013.
