'Mob Psycho 100' episode 10 spoilers, plot news: Mob unleashes deadly emotional outburst; Claw's big boss revealed

Based on ONE's popular web comic with the same name, the 10th episode of "Mob Psycho 100" featured the titular character reaching 100 percent for the first time in the anime adaptation. The Claw's elusive boss may have also been revealed.

The title of the anime is a reference to its main protagonist, Shigeo, who is more popularly known as Mob for his uncanny way of disappearing in the background. Mob apparently means "background character" in Japanese. He is a typical middle school student except for the fact that he also happens to be a powerful Esper, someone who is able to harness and wield psychic-based powers once these are awakened.

Mob's psychic ability scared him so much that he had taught himself to suppress his emotions, which only heightened the amount of psychic force he could unleash when his feelings are triggered to a 100 percent capacity.

This was what happened when he faced off with Muto, one of the Claw's most powerful Scars, inside the Claw HQ. Mob quickly hit 92 percent when he saw his unconscious younger brother, Ritsu, who previously had a run-in with another Scar, Sho Suzuki.

When Muto dared to project an image of a bleeding Ritsu in Mob's mind, the powerful Esper's emotion shot up to a full 100 percent feeling of Rejection. This subsequently fired Muto's power back on his own brain, causing him to pass out. Mob himself also fainted after such an immense and uncontrolled outburst of power. Sho appeared to collect the unconscious brothers.

Teru and Dimple also had battle sequences of their own, which ended in rather unfavorable results.

Teru defeated Miyagawa but was captured by the combined forces of Muraki and Sakurai. Matsuo subdued the upper class evil spirit, Dimple, and dropped him into a jarful of evil spirits.

At the end of the episode, a mysterious man arrived, whom everybody assumed to be none other than the Claw's big boss.

Discussions about "Mob Psycho 100" episode 10 on Reddit speculated about Dimple's fate inside the jar and how he would pit himself against the other evil spirits inside it. Some believed that Dimple will eventually be saved by his cunning. He might pit the other evil spirits against each other instead to take the focus away from himself.
